No. It is not significant to the seed finder. The biggest problem is that the algorithm is different for Nintendo and PC. This was programmed for the PC version which is kind of useless because on PC you have the file anyway. I recommend you use https://oshawk.github.io/stardew-seed-cracker/1.6.15/

I just ported the Switch PRNG for the other web-based predictor, so once you have your unique seed with this tool, you'll be able to predict most of your character's outcomes. With luck, any bugs are quickly found and it gets merged soon into the UI for anyone to use.

Thank you for replying! I am doing this on my IPad but I have stardew on my switch, what should I use for that?

Unless that gets merged into the main repository (likely?) or I create a fork with its own GitHub Pages (less likely) you would need to make those edits locally and then run a local web server since loading HTML and Javascript from local directories has been frowned upon for about a decade; on some computers it'll still work to just load the page in its directory, otherwise you run the server and go to something like http://localhost:9000/index.html

The source is there, but it's not yet friendly to end users.

Hi!! I was trying to use the seed cracker but it won't let me input the season, platform, price and quantity. I've been trying to get this to work for like half an hour but have no idea what the problem could be.

Hi, Im trying to use these tools and read through the thread but am still confused. I thought this seed cracker only worked on the previous version? I saw alot of people saying "cant wait for this to work on 1.6" then I saw the creator say he made one for 1.6 and I clicked that link but it goes to a different one, the browser based seed checker that asks for 4 items. Is this other one also supposed to work on 1.6? I tried it and it didnt give me the right seed

I am trying to use the seedcracker for switch and its not working. I made sure to select the 1.6.15 version and entered my traveling cart items carefully (see screenshot)
But when I plug the seed it gave me into the predictor it gives a completely different list for the traveling cart. Am I doing something wrong?
