hiya! as the title claims, my name is autumn but i also go by star (either is fine), i've recently gotten back into stardew valley. i'm from Iceland but immigrated to the USA when i was 12 so i'm an American immigrant! i'm really new to the game in general beyond basic functions, but a lot of the depth and nuance of the game escapes my mind. uhh i've never made a forum account like this before nor an introduction so i'm not sure exactly what to say.
so fun facts about me:
1. when i was born my Icelandic name had to be from a list of pre approved names that Iceland sets for girls to be called. although i won't post that here as i like to get to know someone before i give that out, my American name (also part of my legal name now) is autumn!
2. i love crochet, i've recently made a blanket from it i'll post a picture of it in here if i can find the photo i took.
3. i also love knitting, but i am very new to it and not nearly as good at knitting that i am at crochet, mostly doing patch jobs for things that rip and tear for myself and others.
4. for a long time i mostly played FPS games, like competitive ones but i decided those games were making me a worse person over all cause of the toxicity in them, so about 2 years ago i decided to change what i played, and for the most part i now mostly only play single player games, and i am much happier now. i get a lot more enjoyment from my time gaming than i did back then, which felt more like work.

5. my favourite band is The Strokes, but i also really enjoy any kinda alt rock from that early 00's era. Icelandic music is also a big favourite of mine, check out Mum one of my favourite "modern" style Icelandic bands, fair warning it's quite different than a lot of American music, very serene and tranquil.
