Xbox My cat disappeared :(

I've been playing Xbox for a while now with my family, we've been playing for two years, with our little cat Pingu, but since the third winter she's completely disappeared! I looked for her in the inventory and found nothing... and her bowl is still there... we always took care of her! We've already restarted the game and the console, waited, and nothing (the game is also updated).

I've seen a few people saying they encountered this bug. I don't know if there a fix, unfortunately. You can buy a new cat from Marnie though! You can name it the same thing and pretend it never happened if that doesn't feel too weird. It's easy to form an emotional bond with your pixel kitty, but at the end of the day it is just pixels. So you wouldn't be wrong for either wanting or not wanting to exactly replace the previous cat

The only way it's not a glitch is if someone used butterfly powder on the cat, either as a bad joke or as a series of decisions brought on by poor reading comprehension
