Mushrooms after rain!

I tried searching for this and haven't seen a similar suggestion anywhere so I am posting it.

After a rainy day, make a lot of mushroom spawn everywhere.

Maybe add a new type of mushroom and add a setting that allows the player to set the frequency of rains.

Maybe not "a lot", but some would be nice.
It makes sense after rain, and maybe common mushrooms can spawn more at Fall that way.
A new type of mushroom to avoid common mushrooms becoming almost all year would avoid people becoming angry over competitive play.
I've been thinking about some option at the character creation screen (some update screen popping up for an existing character after waking up) to make it balanced for those who play more seriously, so that this kind of suggestions can be used in "casual mode" or whatever the name it'd have.

Not a bad suggestion, maybe some will come with more variations of it.

Ooh I like it!
Make some mushrooms appear around the map after a rainy day, and disappear the next day!

That would be cool! It would make mushrooms a bit easier to acquire early on for people that don't pick the mushroom cave.
