I donated all the items to the museum and I didn't receive the star fruit, why?

Talk to Gunther and select collect rewards. If you’ve donated all 95 items the stardrop should be there. You collect it just like with the other rewards for donations.

You're probably missing one. How many empty spaces do you have? It should be only 7.

If you're on pc or mobile, you can upload the save file to the Stardew Check Up for an easy answer.
If not, arrange the museum like the one in the picture on the wiki for comparison.

Or attach a picture to this post and someone else can help you spot it.

What I did is find a screen shot of a completed museum, and then rearrange my museum to match it. That way I could see exactly what I was missing if anything.
