You should be able to scroll down the list of saves to see other savesI would like to see an option to see more than just the most recent saved game in the list.
Would this be possible?
I believe they mean options to sort other than by most recently played, like sorting by oldest file, most hours on a file, etc.You should be able to scroll down the list of saves to see other saves
AhhhhI believe they mean options to sort other than by most recently played, like sorting by oldest file, most hours on a file, etc.
What I mean is a list of the CURRENT game's previous saves. Specifically, go back 1, 2, or 7 days, instead of just to this morning. You should be able to scroll down the list of saves to see other saves
The game only saves the current and day before, if it saved every single day you played files would take an absolutely enormous amount of space. I have a file large enough that if it was saved every single day it would be over 8280 GIGABYTESWhat I mean is a list of the CURRENT game's previous saves. Yeah it be larger than the game itself by a ton. Stardew Valley is actually a very well optimised and compressed game lol it's only 300 something mb on android increasing the size would destroy the low end mobile players like me.The game only saves the current and day before, if it saved every single day you played files would take an absolutely enormous amount of space. I do think the option to go back to the day before is nice though, since it's already stored anyway. mobile already has this option (and pc can easily with some save deleting but that requires a little effort), so I don't see why not
True. But, like practically every other game in existence, they could simply have a spinner to tell how many backups to save, and how far apart to make them. The game only saves the current and day before, if it saved every single day you played files would take an absolutely enormous amount of space. I use save states and only save on one slot since I play on Retroarch but I can see why that's a good idea to save in two slots. It's a useful feature on older consoles.I grew up on computer games where I could have a limited number of save slots, but could save a game into any slot. Due to severe trauma by proxy about saving games after soft-locking yourself into a dead end, if it is possible, I always use at least two slots for a given save file, alternating which slot I use every time I save (or every time I get through a difficult stage, if I know the game well enough). It took a lot of adjustment to save every single night, no other options, no exceptions (since I don't play on PC). I'm used to it now, but I do miss being able to make different copies of the same saved game.
