PC Multiplayer hosting and joining

there's a recent and very annoying bug where sometimes the multiplayer game doesn't let my friend invite because it's not working and there's no multiplayer code for the game even though it was done it multiplayer. Same for people join for me sometimes my multiplayer join ability was gone and I couldn't even put in a session key cause there was no option. we bot hrestarted PC's checked if our internet was working it was all good but yeah not working
