My boyfriend and I play a multiplayer farm on 1.6 and usually have a bad wifi signal. This usually isn't an issue as my boyfriend would reconnect just fine after being kicked out of the game. However, during festivals, he cannot reconnect as the game asks him to wait for the host's even to finish before rejoining. But, I can't leave the festival without all the players who entered the festival being present and ready to leave with me.
This effectively softlocks festivals for us where we have to constantly restart festivals such as the Stardew Fair and rush to get our star tokens for the stardrop before the wifi kicks him out.
