Solved Monster Slayer - Partially Recognized? [Switch]

Hi,

I completed the Monster Slayer list several (game) weeks ago (several RL days ago) and Gil still won't recognize it :(
I've tried:

• Restarting the game
• Restarting my Switch
• Killing more of each monster
• Killing tiger slimes outside the walnut room (saw that on Reddit)
• Speaking to Gil multiple times across different days

When I visit Mr Qi's Walnut room, my perfection tracker says that Monster Slayer is complete. The list in the Guild has everything marked complete, but I did not get any achievement or trophy for it, and when I try to talk to Gil he still says "Come back when you have something to show me"

I play on Switch, and it says I have the most recent update, there is no update available on the Switch console either.

In this save file, it has only ever been single-player and I play the English (US) version

The upcoming Stardew Valley 1.6.16 rewrites the achievement/trophy code to work much more reliably across all platforms, which will also affect whether Gil recognizes that the quests have been completed. In particular:

• Every achievement will have a way to re-trigger it.
• Re-triggering an achievement will now re-send the trophy ID, up to once per day. That will also work for any previous achievement/trophy which failed to unlock.

Let me know if you still have any issues once you get that update.
