Modding on console

Modding on consoles such as XBox and PlayStation Imagine being able to download mods like nexus mods straight to your Xbox or PlayStation…. Some Xbox games allow this already Skyrim for example allowed Xbox and PlayStation users to download mods from a built in mod menu on the main menu, while limited for PlayStation users the Xbox users can download and access almost every mod available on the nexus site that has been ported over via their creators or assisted by others…. I believe this would be a good addition not only to enhance the game but to make the game and each experience personalized to each and every player

I think so too, but you know what... most of consoles were hacked due to some extended functions. Have you heard PS4? That was hacked of default browser.
That is not safe for consoles to install MODs.
Everybody knows MOD can definately improve you experience from pure games because they normally have tiny defects like this or that. Whereas, in order to evade from pirated or replica games, MOD is normally not workable on consoles.
Actually you can modify your save files on PC and then copy it to Xbox Series X/S.

I reckon these genius developers have estimated pros and cons then finally made a decision to block this for safety purpose.

It would be nice if CA allowed us a sort of mod builder and sharer. Think Geometry Dash, but with Stardew mods.
