Modding on console

Modding on consoles such as XBox and PlayStation Imagine being able to download mods like nexus mods straight to your Xbox or PlayStation…. Some Xbox games allow this already Skyrim for example allowed Xbox and PlayStation users to download mods from a built in mod menu on the main menu, while limited for PlayStation users the Xbox users can download and access almost every mod available on the nexus site that has been ported over via their creators or assisted by others…. I believe this would be a good addition not only to enhance the game but to make the game and each experience personalized to each and every player

I think so too, but you know what... most of consoles were hacked due to some extended functions. Have you heard PS4? That was hacked of default browser.
That is not safe for consoles to install MODs.
Everybody knows MOD can definately improve you experience from pure games because they normally have tiny defects like this or that. Whereas, in order to evade from pirated or replica games, MOD is normally not workable on consoles.
Actually you can modify your save files on PC and then copy it to Xbox Series X/S.

I reckon these genius developers have estimated pros and cons then finally made a decision to block this for safety purpose.

I can't think of any game where modding on console was a thing, other than a strict system enforced by the developer, think Bedrock edition.
I know Skyrim & Fallout 4 had modding on console
Those had some limitations on size though, and if you played it on PlayStation, you couldn't download anything using custom assets (textures, models, sound,) that was only on Xbox

That's the best example of modding on console I've seen

You've got me there. But that brings back the point of it's either unfeasible, very limited, or policed by the developers.
