Android [Mobile] Item duplication glitch using a full chest — v1.6.15.3 build 26177

Issue:
I found an item duplication glitch on Stardew Valley Mobile. It works by using a completely full chest and interacting with an item in the inventory while holding another item from the chest.
How to reproduce:
1. Fill a chest completely with items.
2. Have the item you want to duplicate in your inventory.
3. Tap/select the item you want to duplicate.
4. Hold an item from the full chest (the “sacrifice” item).
5. Tap the item you want to duplicate again.
6. The item in the inventory is duplicated.
7. The duplicated amount is normally doubled, although the usual 999 stack limit still applies. If doubling would exceed 999, the excess is removed.

I have a video showing the exact steps and the result. I also have a copy of my save file available.
I believe this may work across multiple versions, as I have personally used the same method on older versions as well, although I haven't tested every version.
There is no error message or crash when performing the glitch.

Hello Hans, I independent came across the same bug as you but with fishing.
I managed to turn a seaweed, and anchovy into a daffodil and halibut respectively.

I have also found that you can also make the item into an item with a quality too.
