That stuff has enough preservatives to keep that meat for a couple months at least, least of all making it blue in the meantime...
I was actually at a foodie event once where every single item in the menu was made with coca-cola as an ingredient. Some were definitely in the "well, that was a thing..." category, but more than you'd expect were tasty.

For the record I rarely drink cola - by rarely I mean I can't remember the last time I did.

I have seen that Coca-Cola has been used in cakes to keep it moist, and I’ve seen sodas used on meat sometimes to keep seasonings on (soda makes seasoning stick, but it is much better with sauces like mustard) but I would be concerned if someone used it for a casserole, and hopefully she didn’t use the can as well.
She did. The can makes it crunchy.
