I was just wandering back from the mines to robins house area (winter year 3) when i saw a huge gross rat running from a bush. I couldn't get a screen shot sadly but this does interest me as I haven't seen anything else about it. Lmk if you know anything related.

it was probably the opossum, (or maybe the alien from the capsule but calling the poor fella a fat rat…)

I also met that. It reminded me of an ant-eater, though! Late at night in my case, while returning from the mines to the farm. It was exactly west of the mines' entrance, underneath Linus' hill and run straight into the only bush found there.

I've seen the possum scamper into bushes when coming into town from the beach; walking down theountain road to the farm; walking by the lake below the mine entrance; in cindersap forest between the wizard's tower and the hatmouse's shop; in cindersap forest below the farm exit. I've triwd following it, shaking the bush, ignoring it and staying put for a bit. It doesn't appear to do anything more than the random rabbits do.
