Other Math Project??

I’m not sure where to put this, but i figured since I’m more proud of the artsy part than the actual math part it belongs here. For my pre-calculus final we have to demonstrate how math is used in real life (particularly in media), and since my teacher plays, we decided to research patterns and probabilities and such in Stardew Valley. I in no way understand anything about what I read and put on the slides, and I’m not finished, so if you have any tips PLEASE let me know. I’ll link my sources below my masterpiece.

I think the Clay Farming was re-randomized in v1.6 but for speedrun (and thing like your!) purposes you can select the old way for Clay predictions to work at initial game start, so stick to that option if you are gonna use it as a demonstration.

I get what you're trying to describe in your pretty artworks of unusual organizedness so I don't have any real suggestions there. And I had no idea about that Omni Geode thing!

Uh yeah that’s why I don’t clay farm…it requires to much brain bandwidth. Though it is true it was more common even without patterns in 1.5.6. Many basics were more common. It was made harder in 1.6. I think if the game were brand new to me I would be too discouraged to keep going.

Wow great job!!

Probably finished now but my only changes would have personally been to the graphics if you wanted to stay absolutely true to the clay-advancing (advances in longer "threads") and the way geode loot is laid out (though it's not the easiest to put down as a graphic, being rather unintuitive to someone who doesn't regularly use tools or understand the mechanic behind them). I've actually also never heard the name "MOMO" before but that's possibly just me somehow missing it lol.

Here's an image of the 1.5 clay generation, in 1.6 it's different without legacy rng but that's not so visually appealing to say the least (and advances in a way not easily predictable by a human so may be a poorer example overall)
