Marriage, Divorce, Roommate?

Hey yo!
I'm currently married to Elliott and let's just say..... Elliott's not the best husband. We have 2 kids (Arrietty & Oliver), but he is getting on my nerves! What should I do? Do I get divorce and remarry? Do I stick with Elliott? Do I go find Krobus and room with him? I need to know!! One last question, who is the best to worst spouse? List please!!

You should stick with him, because he is by far the best bachelor and therefore husband in the game. :cool:

Biased opinion aside, you should do whatever you feel is the best choice.

I've played several farm maps to the point of Perfection, marrying a different spouse in each.
Harvey is supportive, but may feel a bit overprotective with his dialogue.
Shane is suprisingly good with the children, but what he says made me feel like he was saying them just to make you hit him.
Elliot was okay, even if his 14-heart event letters were a bit sappy.
Sebastian was okay too, and most notably doesn't smoke indoors if you keep him happy.
Alex... ended up starting a new save rather than see where the marriage went, it was the last "training wheel" save before the first time I reached Perfection.
Haven't tried Sam, since he seems a bit too young for me, mentally.

Have also got married to Abigail and Leah, and picked Abigail again in my current save, but was waffling for a while between her, Leah, Penny, and Shane.

There is no objectively "best" spouse, just who you may feel is the best option for you, whether that's personality, possible gifts, spouse room decoration, or something else. You may want to check the wiki to help you decide.

Gonna be honest... it really doesn't matter who you marry. It's all based on personality.
To me? I don't marry on personality but rather just who I get the earliest. The one spouse I have is Emily, lol.

Ah so you went with the long hair dream boat "Fabio" guy eh? Not the man of your dreams your farmer thoguht he was eh?

Remember divorce is a big deal, as that chatacter will basically never talk to you again, not even at parties or festivals. The only way to reset them is with a long process involving the witch's hut and gold. Takes a while to get to that point.

Id try to stick it out a bit, perhaps take a break from constantly talking to them and gifting them to get a break. I only experimented with dating Abigail, Penny, and Emily. I thought I was 100% gonna marry Abigail (I gave her an amethyst every day) but as I got to know her I started to dislike her. When she "saved" me from a low level dungeon monster was insulting, and she throws tantrums. Shes too emotional and thats just red flags for me.

Ended up with Penny, who was my backup, and I couldn't be happier. Shes just so sweet, grateful, and kind. She always looks on the bright side and tries to help with the farm as best she can. Ultimately its just up to you and how you "vibe" with the characters. Everyone is different so there is no wrong or right list.
