1.6 Update Marriage Ceremony Changed? or Glitched?

It's not C.A. that changed those things alone... There is a number of entitled entities, that constantly nag and pester (a number of them quite rudely at that), for changes of "this" sort.

Especially noticable in Steam forums.

Despite the game being pretty open and friendly to them or rather to EVERYBODY, they are still being pretty vicious (other than ungrateful), until everything is eventually neutered out.

(i myself miss the old Frog dialogue lines)
The frog dialogues were changed in english, too?
In italian, the new ones are absolutly horryble...

Changed in all languages to feed less into the stereotype they portrayed previously. I mean from a cultural sensitivity standpoint I guess? Though I don't know anyone who was in any way offended by them, it's not really my own culture and therefore not really my place to give much personal comment on though.

I'm sorry that these kind of changes happen. Games, like books, wield an artistic view of their creators and we all have different feeling regarding these views. Some like them, some dislike them, it's been this way for ages. That artists/creators remove or modify content because they don't want to hurt anyone feelings, will only lead to games or books that will feel flat and less interesting. When I dislike a book, I put it back on the shelve, I don't ask the author to rewrite it according to my taste.

I think that accepting to feel offended sometimes, is an opportunity to question and challenge ourselves. Maybe we are already right, maybe we may improve. But refusing to feel offended is refusing to become a better version of ourselves.

I agree, though there's definitely a balance too, there will always be something that can be drawn up out of the context originally intended, and a very real risk of being too insensitive. Whether that applies here isn't my place, though I do agree that the inverse in being too sensitive unto complete disconnect it's own threat.
