Switch Marnie is stuck

Hi. Marnie is stuck forever staring at her door in her house (the one to her room I think). I know it is forever because I am sure that she doesn't stare at it every day of the week for all day long so right now, I cannot buy any new animals.
I am using a Nintendo switch and at this time I can't upload my save file because I can't download the custom firmware. I am in single player and the version is v1.615 build 3 and the game language is in english. Please help!!
- I have updated my game and reset my nintendo
- I have also looked and started new save files and marnie works properly in the other ones.

Jeez it sucks being a console player. Xbox guys get issues all the time and so do switch players. Did you try sleeping and seeing if it was fixed next day?

hi, I am currently trying to gain friendship with her to try but as for now, she is not walking in place so i assume opening the door won't do anything but i will try!!

Yes, I am sure I am in early game right now so I don't have any furniture hahaha

You can get furniture randomly on day one :). Can you talk to her through the door?
