Make bulk planting easier

Hi everyone! So, I’m going to get straight to the point... I’m sure everyone has been surprised by how much time passes when planting, especially in Year 2+ when you plant hundreds of crops. 🌱 Maybe add a feature where you can plant every seed in your inventory (or seeds you choose) in every hoed spot on your farm, which may plant some crops in weird spots such as artifact spots you dug up, but I think the pros would outweigh the cons. Or just stop time when you plant, but that would be harder to implement.

Yes, I know about the tractor mod and the cheats mod where you can stop time but I’m suggesting this for people who can’t mod.

I like this as it allows the Farmer to get more done, and I think that an RPG-like way might be to reduce the time spent while planting, dependent on the level of Farming skill, in a similar way to where Time stops while harvesting crops. The time spent shouldn't be entirely removed or allow the Farmer to plant thousands of crops as that "feels" unrealistic, but an increase in the experienced Farmer's capability to plant 2 or 3x the crops in the same amount of time seems reasonable.

At least until a Tractor or something similar is added to the official game. I mean we have Auto-Grabbers, Galaxy Swords, Shadow People, Flying Skulls, and can cool flowing Lava to walk on with a Watering Can but don't have:

A Tractor.

In a Farming game.

For me, wanting area seeding and fertilizing is more about wanting to avoid missing a spot. Planting (or doing anything else) behind tall objects tends to be difficult. Who else has spent way too much time looking around for spots they missed with seeds or fertilizer? It takes time to look behind each building, and scarecrows and other tools/furniture don't even offer transparency. On my first playthrough, I can't tell you how many times I thought I triple checked that a seed went behind a scarecrow, only to see nothing growing there as the days went along - I actually stopped planting behind scarecrows altogether! But once it's time to use my hoe and watering can, the paranoia about missing a spot disappears, because it's much easier to keep track of whether you've done 3x3 squares as you go (or whatever your upgrade level is).

I would propose the addition of a new tool: the seed drill. Maybe Pierre sells it for 50,000 or something. You would load fertilizer and seeds into it exactly like bait and tackle to a fishing rod. Clint could upgrade it, and it would work exactly like the water can and hoe. Seed drills are real tools, too, you can see some for sale here.
