Mailing to NPC's

I'm not sure how plausible this is. However, it's really frustrating sometimes when you do everything to complete a request and when you go to deliver the item the door is locked. It feels like you wasted your time. So I thought it would be really useful to be able to mail said item to villagers and still be able to complete the request that way.

Though in it you can also send villager gifts which I dislike, bc you can get an npc to full hearts without ever seeing their dialogue or actually interacting, but everyone plays however they want so some might like this.

Yeah, there's a mod for almost anything and it sucks that so many people can't use them. Also hope it'll get added, it would be a nice addition
