Mac MacBook Pro Ventura Crash Support

Hi!

I've been playing Stardew on my switch for years and I love it! I wanted to get it on my computer so that I could run mods, but I've been having some issues with the game. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro running the Ventura 13.0.1 operating system and a 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 processor. Supposedly, this is a 64bit system, but every time I run the game as soon as I interact with an NPC outside of my farm, the game crashes. I downloaded the game through Steam and have had no other problems with other Steam games. I can get the [compatibility] 32bit version of the game to work on my laptop, but that version of the game doesn't allow mods. (I've attached a screenshot of what the game looks like in my Steam library.) I was wondering if I should download a version of the game before the 1.5 update or if anyone else has had a similar problem and found a solution.

I thought I am the only one who facing this error. I hope someone will reply to me after my message. I will wait for it and till then I am gonna research online regarding my essay assignment. I want to do research on the most common types of eating disorder, if you also want to know then you can visit the given linked here. When I am done with my research after that I will come back here in hope to get solution regarding my errors.

Hi! Unfortunately It's been like that since December 2021. It sucks because they haven't fixed this but apparently the SDV discord mentioned that there are macbook models that doesn't work because of the update back in 2021 that helps with modders make mods easier (i forgot what it's called).

Ahh thanks so much for the response - do you know of any solutions, like downloading an earlier version of the game?
