PC Mac OS Big Sur not a supported platform for 1.5?

Stardew Valley was working fine for me this morning with OS Catalina, but I updated to OS Big Sur 11.1 and when I tried to play it again I got a steam error message saying that Stardew Valley couldn't be launched because the platform is unsupported. I tried un-installing+reinstalling the game from my computer to see if it just needed a fresh download with the new 1.5 update, but now I can't re-install at all. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, or if it is an issue with my computer?
