Low rate of meteors

There are quite a lot of game seeds where the predictor gives like 3-4 meteors that can happen, but then 0-1 tend to happen. I've checked multiple 3-meteor spring game seeds, and it's all disappointing. Is it something specific with the targeting script that makes the check fail so often?

And does anyone know any reliable seed with multiple working meteors? :)

I've modified the rain bute force calculator to find spring meteors (http://forums.stardewvalley.net/thr...otatoe-farm-because-why-not.38800/post-235234)

No seed has more than 7 meteors in Spring. Seeds come in identical pairs, so the 4 seeds with 7 meteors are really 2 distinct results:
- 6599996, 6599997 days 7,9,11,12,15,19,26
- 2096217134, 2096217135 days 6,14,15,17,22,23,28

208 seeds with 6 spring meteors.

Yet nothing lands when just force-sleeping the days (owl does land).

The event chooses a random 3x3 area on the farm and checks whether it contains any water, placed objects that block movement, buildings, or resource clumps. If it does, the event does nothing. Otherwise, the meteorite will spawn in the lower left 2x2 square within this area.

I'd suspect the meteors would have greater chance to land if those sleep-through days were spent clearing the farm instead. I know I had a decent seed on one of my first meadowland farms. 3 meteors landed before I could upgrade my pickaxe to gold. Though I think at least two of those landed in Summer rather than Spring. Too bad I don't know what seed it was, as I erased the save almost a year ago.

Quoting the wiki (link):
"There's a 1% chance of the meteorite event being chosen. The event chooses a random 3x3 area on the Farm and checks whether it contains any water, placed objects that block movement, buildings, or resource clumps. If it does, the event does nothing. Otherwise, the meteorite will spawn in the lower left 2x2 square within this area."

I did a test before with a cleared forest farm and 3 out of 3 failed. Meteors can destroy crops and few other things so, I'm not sure if rock or trees would block them. What is a "resource clump"?

I've tested now one of those 7-meteor seeds on beach farm, bombed and cleared everything days one and 4 out of 7 landed... nice but still it would be more fun getting 6-7 :)

The more you clear out the farm the better chance it'll be. It needs a 3x3 place to land. (I say this as somebody who has trouble getting one to land in year 1, but get a lot of owl statues in year 1).
