Windows Lost items from chest

Hi lost my items from my chest inside the house.
I was decorating my house and i accidentally tutched the chest and was able to move it with stuff in it witch i found wierd since u cant really move ir like that with things in it.
I play the extended version for the first time and also havnet plyed for a long time, so i thought maybe it was somting new or in the mood. But after i was done decorating snd looked into the chest i lost all my saved items.
I checked the lost item shop in the forest snd goviners house snd its nothing there, does anyone know how to get it back or is it completely lost???

You can now push chests with items in them, but usually you shouldn’t lose all your items.
