Ok so next question! I just got my first Jumino hut and they harvested all the cauliflower overnight. How does one get giant crops if the Juminos are so efficient?

If you don't want the junimos to harvest crops, click on their hut. There is a little button on the upper right of a junimo holding a blueberry. This turns harvesting on and off.

What if you date all 12 eligible candidates? Is that a thing?

Yes it is. I have done it and got them all to 10 stars and triggered both cutscenes (with rabbit's foot in inventory) in one save once just to do it.

They don't harvest overnight. They harvest in the morning. If you get there fast enough, you can watch them. They will not prevent a giant crop from happening, nor can they harvest the giant crop.
