I got garbage hat in the desert! i have all 1.5 hats exept living hat , any ideas for how to grind for the living hat (sorry for my english)

Scythe (almost) all the Weeds you can find!

• Levels 11-29 and 91-109 in the Mines have lots of Weeds and if you exit to Level 0 and wait a game tick (10 minutes on the clock), they will respawn.
• The Mutant Bug Lair also gets a lot of Weeds every day
• The new v1.6 Summer event should not be missed for its perfusion of Weeds, make a point of Scything all of them as that will be the best single day for Weeds
• The rest of the Maps have some Weeds spawning naturally and if you leave 1 in spawn area, you'll get more as they spread faster than they generate from nothing (hence the almost).
• If you really want that Living Hat, you could also let Weeds spread at the Ginger Farm and just farm Weeds there. Again, leave a few here and there to encourage quicker spreading.

The Ginger strategy is a test of how dedicated any Farmer is to getting the Living Hat. Do you want millions of g from Ancient Fruit Wine?

Getting the garbage hat in the desert is awesome!

Getting the living hat is basically as Lew already said, just remember that you can always reset the day, the ginger island strat revolves around the fact that the living hat isn't predetermined and resetting the day allows you to mine a good 800-900 weeds every 2-3 minutes. The same can apply to the new event as Lew said, just reset the day over and over (less/no setup but less optimal than ginger island weed whacking).

I found Living Hat twice, across 2 saves.

The first time, i used:
1) Very Lucky Day
2) Golden Star Lucky Lunch + Golden Star Ginger Ale
3) 2x Lucky Rings
4) Going down in the sewers, to the area with magic ink quest (bugs, slimejack and many weeds). Scythe in hand and attack weeds.
5) Load game, rinse and repeat

The second time, i used:
1) Summer Green Rain event
2) Normal quality Lucky Lunch
3) 2x Lucky Rings
4) Roam the main Stardew map areas, attacking only weeds.
5) Load game, rinse and repeat

Few tries and it suddenly appeared.

To be fair ancient fruits are super easy to repopulate. Just get a stack and shove them into a hopper on a seed maker and you're set, just pick them up every now and then while your bush (hat) farm grows

I found multiple Living Hats on level 21 of the regular mine. I always accept Clint's copper quests, I go to level 21 to collect coppers for Clint and also cut all weeds there. That's how I find Hats. One time I decided to be dedicated, killed the Golden Clock, let monsters spawn on farm, and let Ginger Island overgrow with weeds. That did not produce the hat. Killing Golden Clock hurt me because it is my favorite building. So I decided not to do it again. I started a new farm, went to level 21 and found the Living Hat.
