I want the villagers to be more fleshed out. I hate it when they dont do anything. they feel like robots. I want them to interact with eachother and have more interesting personalities like maru. Love her, but she needs to be fleshed out more. ex way more fleshed out dialogue.
I also want the villagers we dont marry to actually have a life. EX maru gets to be a scientist, We have a "build penny a school house" quest. and even have them do that regardless of marriage status. I feel horrible every time I marry someone because theyre so boring.
Another suggestion is late game marriage canadates. Like sandy and a new canidate. I just want someone to romance that we get later in the game like a reward.
ID LOVE A FARM THAT IS PINK AND ITS SPECIAL THING IS FRUIT GROWING FOR ARTISAN!!! like it grows cherry blossom trees and has special pink water that makes the trees grow faster?
ID love for the children to be more fleshed out too and help us around the farm?
oh and id love it for beer to become a hated gift for shane like a story line after we get married or something. Or have a special story line of dialogue after you give him beer.

I agree. If you want, there are also mods for fleshing out villagers. Never played any, (I play on console) but I've heard of so many.

YES YES YES to all of this. I think about these same exact things. I think after a certain point (like year 7-10) there should be like a revamping. Maybe Lewis approaches us about expanding town and this place has somewhere for more of the existing characters to grow (Haley having a job, Penny opening a school, etc.) and for new characters to be introduced. These characters won't crossover into pelican town but if we marry they can still live on our farm and be at the events in town (since no one really moves or has interactions during festival days, what's adding one more npc standing around?) Also I completely want anything pink. I wish wish I could have a pink farm. Those peach trees only stay up for ONE MONTH! I wish I could make the buildings the same birch tree pink as the furniture. I would also love if the children could be in the yard. Even if it's just them running around or 'filling up the water bowls'. And yeah idk why it shows Shane loving beer even after everything we helped him get through. There should be a pop-up dialogue saying 'Shane no longer 'loves' beer but now 'hates' it'. Just like they did with Pierre's shop increasing prices. I agree I agree I agree
