Windows Journey of the Prairie King Late Game Quirks

Currently on NG+5 of prairie king and found some interactions with the max upgraded fire rate upgrade.
- Since it shoots three shots, but is still considered the revolver and retains the fire rate, the shotgun powerup becomes a nerf
- The sheriff's badge is weaker than the machine gun as well since the machine gun boosts the revolver fire rate while the badge is a boosted shotgun
- With the wheel + machine gun at the end of the timer, enemies die and respawn instantly and indefinitely until the powerups end. Since the enemies are spawning and dying 20 times a second, they drop a lot of power ups, so this was successfully chained for ~45s post timer end.

Is there a set amount of enemies that spawn at this point that just haven't entered the screen post timer end that still have to bleed onto the map or is this not intentional?
