Hello! I just experienced this bug while playing JOFPK. I accidentally pressed SELECT during the cutscene you get while transitioning between worlds after each boss (where the squirrels carry you), making me exit the arcade. Upon reentering and pressing "Continue Journey", the cutscene played out and spawned me in the forest... along with the bad cowboy boss!
He immediately killed me and then did not respawn, but the boss battle music kept playing in the background, on top of rather than replacing any in-game music. I have a recording of this last part, unforunately not of the in-console bug as I was too surprised, can provide if needed.
Step to replicate: I guess exit game during cutscene, then re-enter?

Edit: Quitting to title menu did not fix the issue, but quitting the game entirely was the only thing that did.
