I could go into a full fight with some of the people saying joja is better (lol) like seriously 😒
Challenge accepted. Joja stands for convenience. Especially since you can buy the membership **after** you finish the bundles that interests you or you need them.

Some cunning people, either carefully omit that, or falsely lead others to believe that going joja cancels out the bundle playstyle; well with Joja, you can technically enjoy the best of both worlds and most importantly, at your own pace/discretion/choosing!

I feel like when you choose joja you do not get any major changes. For example, you can still get the cinema, the junimo huts still work. On the other hand when you do the junimo route you don't have easy access to auto-petters, the joja mart is gone, there are some annoying schedule changes.
I fell like the joja route should have some more changes like for example not being able to buy junimo huts because you actually did not become friends with them, maybe make it so joja sell the items that are currently only sold by Pierre (maybe except the bouquet).
On the community center side I fell like maybe removing the golden parrot would be a good idea, would still leave Fizz in the cave though because it gives the feeling of once again having to choose between easy(money) route and the difficult(life-draining) route and the parrot would be a "cheat/help" for the ones that had gone joja route before.

If you do the corporate ghoul route, I assume Pierre will either close up (not so, seeing the above post), or still keep closed on Wednesdays. Talking about convenient, I find it great that he's open every day.

When it comes to schedules, Clint closing on Fridays doesn't much matter. But after Ginger island, it feels like all bets are off. Yeah, I could close down that option with the changing room thingy, but that feels cheesy.

Nevertheless, Pierre is MUCH more conveniently located than Joja at the arse-end of the world. First time I played, it took a very long time until I found the place and therefore met everybody in town.

I usually go with the Joja route because it feels more straightforward, and I like how the story unfolds with that choice. Plus, the convenience of just paying to fix things up is appealing when I’m focused on other parts of the game.

At least to my mind, swapping halfway erases the biggest benefit of the joja route: cherry-picking your rewards and getting them much quicker than you would otherwise (at a higher gold investment). Honestly it feels more like the worst of both worlds: you're still waiting a while for completion, you have to pay through the nose for anything you do on the Joja side of things, and your town ends up with Pierre closed on Wednesday.
