Windows Joja cola is trash, doesn't count as trash?

Hi all,
I've been doing the "community cleanup" quest and I noticed that, even though it is marked as trash, joja cola doesn't count toward this quest as trash. It also isn't processed by the recycler. Is this intentional?
using windows 11 and stardew valley 1.5.6 hotfix 3 on steam. Tested with

It is also the only trash item that sells for profit, so it is treated differently than the other trash things.
