I always go to sleep and walk around a bit so the game saves properly but i still often lose a day of progress. I think it happens when i enter the game again and enter my farm and then i change my mind and dont feel like playing and exit it and then the next time i open it up a day is lost. I play on the steam deck but i used to experience the issue before on pc and on mobile. Its quite a frustrating issue and i have lost a few hours of playtime to it. The saving system in general is quite weird and could use an upgrade. Having to sleep to save is quite inflexible and often the game doesnt save properly.
