iOS Issue with zoom on iPhone 15 pro max

Hi,

I’m experiencing a serious display/zoom issue on the iOS version of Stardew Valley.

After installing the game on my iPhone 15 Pro Max (running the latest iOS), the in-game screen is extremely zoomed in by default. I’m unable to zoom out, and I cannot access the wrench/settings icon from the top menu — it’s completely off-screen and unreachable, even after reinstalling the app, resetting iPhone display settings, and trying all available gestures (pinch, triple tap, swiping left, etc.).

I’ve set the iPhone’s Display Zoom to Default, reduced the text size, restarted the device, and even changed languages — nothing helps. This issue seems to be related to screen scaling on newer iPhones and makes the game nearly unplayable, since I cannot access the “Zoom Level” setting that would fix it.

Please let me know if there’s a fix or if a patch is planned to address this.

Thank you!

Best regards

If you want a quick fix to solve the issue before a patch, you can offload your save file to a pc (or use some kind of file editing software on the phone) and manually edit zoom values within primary game file (named "(whatever your farm name is)_(your file seed, just a string of values))

This should work upon reload

Hello,

Thank you for your previous response regarding the zoom issue. I checked my save files, but it seems that the iOS version uses a binary plist format, and I couldn’t find any zoom-related settings inside the save file.

Could you please confirm if the zoom level or UI scaling is stored somewhere else in the iOS version, such as the app settings or a different plist file? If so, could you guide me on how to access and edit that to fix the zoom issue?

Thank you very much for your assistance
