I'm getting this no matter what portrait mod i download. This is the 4th mod I've installed, and it's saying the same thing. In the Mod Folder, it only has .png files. When I search up on Google on why this is happening, it's saying to ensure "content.json and manifest.json files are correctly formatted and in the right location within the mod folder." I have Content Patcher, but I don't know how to do this??

How do I make it into a content.json and manifest.json file? I've been trying at this for about an hour or two, and I'm new to this modding. All I've ever did was just install mods, and have no issues. I have the updated version of SMAPI, SDV, and the portrait mods. I've made sure it was 1.6 compatible. Someone please help.

Hi there! Don't worry about creating a content/manifest.json file—you won't have to do anything of the sort.

If you take a look at the requirements for LT's portraits, you'll see that they're made for the Portraiture mod. You'll need to download that if you haven't already, then extract its contents into your mod folder.

Once that's done, you'll have to move the portraits you want to use into the 'Portraits' sub-folder in the Portraiture mod folder. For me, that would be in C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Stardew Valley\Mods\Portraiture\Portraits. After that, you just have to launch your game like normal, then press 'P' when you're talking to other villagers to change their portraits to their modded variant. Have fun!
