Switch Introductions Bug?

I started playing a file I made a whole ago, but was only 2 days in. I was trying to complete the introductions, but I've met everyone in town and it still says 27/28. I went around and talked to everyone again, but it did nothing. Am I missing something? Is this a known bug for Switch?

Hi Bwibs91 and Welcome to the Forums! Just as a second way of keeping tally, when you open your Villagers tab, do you see everyone identified with a name and no ??? next to anyone?

Have you talked to all the shopkeepers when they're not shopkeeping? The game will sometimes show someone with their name when you only talk across the counter, but it will not count for the introduction quest.

I could see all the names and talked to all the shopkeepers when not at the counter. It seemed to fix itself suddenly for no reason when I talked to Haley. I had spoken to her several times before, but for some reason that fixed it.
