I think Jojo prices should be lower than Pierre’s

Everything should cost the same without membership and with it everything should be slightly cheaper, which would make Jojo a viable alternative and it would be realistic Pierre should be expensive not the other way Jojo is a massive chain which can afford lower prices like all big chain markets than a local shop, Pierre’s expanses should be way higher than Jojo for logistics alone would cost Pierre way too much in comparison

I mean other than romantical reasons which is to encourage people to play the game as intended, it doesn’t make sense people of the valley going to Jojo bc of cheaper prices and we only get matching prices for getting a membership it isn’t about seed prices and other goods Jojo lowers it’s prices to match

a true alternative would be this way I think, we get slightly cheaper seeds and in return we have to pay for everything which makes sense

It definitely would, in game it's unspokenly justified by Pierre giving us a sort of 'bulk' discount to match joja's prices as the main customer within pelican town, but it really doesn't make too much sense.

Joja has far less variety in what it sells, is farther out of the way (or roughly equivalent with the minecarts unlocked), and requires a membership to be the same price, at least make the pre-membership prices the same as pierre and the membership slightly cheaper.

To be fair though, there are multiple other benefits one gains from pursuing the joja route that often more than make up for the lack of discounts, at least when those other benefits are something you're after (faster completion, buyable autopetters, etc.)

an idea i've always liked is that joja seeds should be cheaper but they're less likely to be high quality than the seeds you get from pierre's. that being said some meta will probably break that even tho it's more of a narrative thing

Possibly a small chance to turn into a mixed seed for example, something not as annoying as sometimes growing slower but enough to consider spending a little bit more on the consistent seeds
