I love the NPCs of this game bro.

Because I love this game so much, I will look at the Stradew Valley Wiki all the time.

When I wake up. I'm on the wiki.

When I'm sad. I'm on the wiki.

When I sleep. I dream of the wiki-

And so, because I'm on the wiki so much, I find interesting things. Dialogue for characters, portraits I haven't seen seen in awhile, all sorts of stuff.

I thought I'd share a collection of things I think are funny and cool.



1. lmao the slow decline of Shane is so sad... But so funny. He used to have light in those eyes.

Also, I like the half shaved head. Oddly fitting for a younger Shane.



2. These two winter quotes from Jodi, that I think make her so real.

“Hi. Do you get tired of people asking about your farm all the time? I think I would.” Lol, Jodi omg.

“What do I do for fun? Hmm... That'a a good question. I like sleeping.” Oh Jodi! ;-;



3. An old portrait of Abigail's, where I think she looks alot like her mom.

I think it's mostly the angle. But there are similarites that I think are kinda fun to point out between Caroline and Abby.



4. Still, my absoulte favorite quote from Gus.

“Yeah, I know a lot about the people living here. That's one of the benefits of being a bartender. Sometimes I hear too much...”

Gus. Please. Give me every ounce of tea you have good sir.

Gus definitely knows a lot of the lore lmfaoo. I wish we could gossip with him. Abigail's portrait looks weird imo. Caroline has a different skin colour and face shape than her.

I'm not lingering on the wiki as much as you, but I do spend a lot of time on it or reading the SDV Guidebook, just for fun. Sometimes, I read funny things or that I had forgotten, sometimes I discover new things (mostly, on the wiki). One thing that strikes me often with SDV Guidebook is how some drawings by Kari Fry help me to have a better or different perception of their pixel art counterpart from the game.

I'm not lingering on the wiki as much as you, but I do spend a lot of time on it or reading the SDV Guidebook, just for fun. Sometimes, I read funny things or that I had forgotten, sometimes I discover new things (mostly, on the wiki). One thing that strikes me often with SDV Guidebook is how some drawings by Kari Fry help me to have a better or different perception of their pixel art counterpart from the game.

I don't spend much time on the wiki either lol. Idk why but it never appealed to me. Sure it's a bunch of knowledge but I never like remembering crop growth times and sell values.

They both still have green eyes, though. Something they still share in current portraits.

I like their dynamic. I've always interperted them as kinda stubborn, but in their own ways.
