You can indeed get a barn and cows before the chickens, it just won’t advance that quest until the coop is up. Totally valid though! However I’d actually recommend getting a silo before either, as you can’t store your own hay without one so you’ll otherwise be stuck paying Marnie’s hefty fees for hay or else letting your poor animals starve. There’s no rules though, Robin will hook you up with whatever you want.
ok Thought I'd read somewhere you could just let the animals out to eat the grass which is probably what made me think they could wander around free-range. But the chicken coop seemed to come with its own little fenced off area ... I wanted ducks that could swim in the pond as thought I'd seen one update gives you ducks too. Seems some of the things are mods only available to people playing the PC version and many video's have not said what version they were playing! (assumed it was same on all consoles).
In my new 4 corners farm I just need 9 more clay to get the silo and need to clear a space and decide where its going. I found it much easier to get the copper I needed on that farm with the little stone area at the bottom of one of the area's.
One game is kinda helping the other...like Jodi suddenly asked me for cauliflower in the other one and I couldn't find one only seeds to grow so on second farm I got cauliflower seeds at the beginning so have one ready for that quest coming up!!
used to enjoy going and sitting in the caravan when it was empty but Pam stops you and says oi you stop snooping round my caravan while I'm out..lol! ...so as Kenny particularly wants to marry Penny, didn't do that in the second game and took Pam gifts as well as Penny!!
Apparently it's Pam's birthday this season so make sure I've got enough left to buy her a beer! has to be one of her favourite things if she's in saloon every night!!
