Android I can't connect to the co-op game.

My friend is on an iPhone and I'm on Android.
We can't join each other's worlds.
It gives a connection error.
We tried having him use a computer while I used my phone, but it still didn't work.
We tried every option, but nothing worked.

I think, Multiplayer works best with PC and even then you'll also need a stable internet connection. My partner and I kept running into the problem where he would get kicked out of the game or have trouble connecting to me as the host. But I don't know what the problem was in the end—I'm not tech-savvy enough.
