Android I can't buy anything in game with controller

I bought a gamesir x5 lite gamepad. All buttons work normally. But when I go to buy things in the store, I can't buy anything. I press X and it doesn't work. I press A and it doesn't work. But I can still select the quantity of items through my gamepad. Is there any way to fix this?

@Ririno There's a mod that fixes this now — Android Consolizer. A button buys items, works at every shop including Marnie, Robin, Blacksmith, Desert Trader, etc. Also fixes a ton of other controller issues (inventory cursor, chest management, toolbar, and more).
