I can’t unlock Parrot express

I have already unlocked everything on Ginger Island except the bridge in the volcano and the parrot express. I can’t seem to find any parrots on any of the perches to unlock the express. Am I missing something?

I just replayed the island I unlocked farm, Dig site and then I unlocked the parrot express .. I can't think of any reason why your not seeing the parrots to pay them. even if you didn't have the walnuts I think the parrot would still be there to tell you the price. Maybe spend a day away from the island If you've been on a vacation there? or a few days? maybe spend a day on the island if you haven't? not that these things matter. just thinking of ways to trigger it, maybe a boat ride if you have been using fast travel back and forth? I'm sure you tried a few different things. Sorry I only have suggestions and more questions than answers. I read a lot about the bugs, this is first I heard of this so sounds uncommon to me. Do you have all the walnuts? have you spent time talking to leo? are you using any mods? Is there anything else unusual? best suggest I have is to keep trying different things. (Maybe add a splitscreen player see if it pops up for that).. I can't see any reason why the parrots haven't popped up already... Perhaps somebody else know what's up and will give you a response . That's all I got best of luck with it:)

Thank you so much! I don’t know how it worked or why but I did as you said and didn’t go to the island for two days and the parrot was there! So much easier than downing espressos and having to walk everywhere.
