1.6 Update How to play Multiplayer from Steam to Mobile?

I'm currently visiting a good friend in Lower Saxony and want to play Stardew Valley with him. Unfortunately, he's playing on PC (Steam) and I'm on mobile (iOS 18), so I wanted to ask you how it's possible that I can join his farm. Thanks for your answers!

Hi! It's easier to play mobile multiplayer between PC and mobile if the farm is hosted on PC and you're both connected to the same wifi network. This guide has more information about how to set up mobile multiplayer.

If you’re on the same WiFi, that shouldn’t be necessary. You just need to know their IP.

I’ve done it and you have to connect through their IP address. Only problem is that i’ve experienced (on mobile) that sometimes my game freezes and I can’t save and exit or open the menu at all so I just close the app!

Yeah as people have already said, you may run into a couple issues but just a quick restart fixes basically anything.

Definitely agree with others saying to host on pc too, when anything arises it's better not to have to reset the device that's hosting and potentially lose all your progress for the day
