Question How to mod with xbox gamepass (PC)?

Hi im really sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
I'm trying to find out how to mod stardew on my Windows PC. I play the game through xbox gamepass.
Does anyone know how i can?
A video i found said that there is an 'enable mods' button in the xbox app but its not there for me so ive kinda hit a stuck point.
