How do you rank your farming tools?

Howdy Farmers!

I want to see how everyone ranks their farming tools! Which ones are your absolute favourites and which one’s do you leave in your chest to rot? *COUGH* the copper pan *COUGH*

Just to clarify, I mean equipped farming tools. The stuff you can actually swing around!⛏

Sometimes a tool is your favourite because it's incredibly useful and single-handedly carries your farming empire. Other times, it's just fun to use or because it lets you aggressively clear-cut the entire valley’s ecosystem. No judgment here!

Sword&pickaxe are up there
Pan is fun to use, especially when upgraded to iridium (+enchanted) and there's lots of loot, so unless I'm packing the inventory for something like the mines, its with me.
Axe, hoe, fishing rod and scythe are useful, but are often left in a chest when I'm partially sure I won't need them
Watering can is kept in a chest where I can easily reach it to water my pet's bowl, but between no-quality-sprinklers-yet phase and the volcano its never taken out besides that.
Milk pail and shears I just never buy. If I happen to get any barn animals before I reach farming 10, I only pet them.
all hail the auto-grabber
Yessssss!

The usual, I would say... sword-rod-axe-pickaxe-hoe. The watering can stays at home unless I visit GI, the pan stays there, too... I try to avoid milk pail and shears until the Auto grabber is available. I'm slowly getting used to have a chest at the mines for all the bombs and weapons, but doing so I often forget about my sword when entering the Secret Woods and trying to fight the slimes with my tools is just annoying...

the main function of my milk pail and shears is to get left in the inventory of my auto-grabbers so that said auto-grabbers continue to effectively function like treasure chests. if you completely empty them you cannot "open" them anymore to put stuff back in (until the next day when your animals have made a new deposit), but as long as one thing remains in there, you can freely swap stuff in and out.

this is also where my regular scythe and training rod "retire" to.

as far as hotkey order and what tools i always roll with, I usually have Hoe/Pick/Weapon/Axe 1-2-3-4, with the watering can and fishing rod only coming out when needed. As for the pan I usually leave it behind until I've upgraded it. Copper Pan? Bleh. IRIDIUM Pan? Simply phenomenal, becomes the 5.

[If I'm going into the volcano the roster becomes Pick/Weapon/WaterCan/Slingshot 1-2-3-4.]

I usually pack sword - pickaxe - hoe - rod - axe - pan. I never take my watering can, pail or shears normally. Unless I'm specifically planning to go to the volcano dungeon, and then it's sword - pickaxe - watering can.
I always try to get an auto-grabber for the barn as soon as possible. I never thought of putting the shears and pail in there, though, that's a great idea.
