so i just discovered that stardew has a website and that theres a whole forum page where we can all interact and i think that's really cool! ive never joined anything like this before so i am really excited to use this more often (hopefully if i dont forget about it after around a week which i always do ... woops) but im excited to be more active and interact with all of you <3
i begun playing stardew in the end of 2021 but i didnt get past autumn 1st year because 1) i was super busy with school, 2) my laptop stopped working <//3 but i picked it up again a few days ago because i remembered you could purchase the game on the switch! i was always aware of this but i was hesitant because it was like 'well if i paid for the game on my laptop,,, why should i pay for it again?' but it's been over a year and i don't see myself being able to get a new laptop any time soon so i decided to get it on my switch.. it wasnt as much as i thought so it was okay to my account lmaoo
it's really fun playing all over again and being able to do things correctly this time (like not accidentally throwing away my sword before unlocking the adventurers guild or selling all my fish and crops and forgetting about the community centre). so far i've made it to the 24th of summer i think !!
im rambling a bit now but this is an introduction forum so i will tell you a bit about myself - interests etc
one thing i really really love is flowers! i spend a lot of my days researching about different kinds of flowers, my favourite though, is a cherry blossom flower. i even made my university assignment about the sociology of cherry blossom (it sounds a bit odd for an entire assignment but it got me a good grade so !! ). i also really love music, there isn't a time where i dont have music playing unless im sleeping or busy doing something where i cant have my headphones on (though i find it difficult to function without my headphones lmao) i mainly listen to kpop (my favourite groups are seventeen, mamamoo, stray kids, purplekiss, stayc, p1harmony and zerobaseone. honourable mentions yena, itzy, exo, btob, ladies code and yuri) some non kpop artists i listen to are conan gray, sabrina carpenter, tinyumbrellahs, chevy, keshi, and laufey! there are a few more artists that i casually listen to but these are the main people i listen to ! (please let me know of any music recs you have or who you listen to as well)
i enjoy crocheting, im not amazing at it i've (poorly) made a cat hat and a (poorly attempted) headphone leaf. i do want to keep practicing because there are so many things that i would LOVEEE to make
i prefer playing farming simulation games and cosy games ! stardew is my current favourite though haha
my favourite colour is lilac but i tend to have more pink things ??? somehow.. idk
i think that's enough that i'll say for now, ive rambled a bit too much and my arms are beginning to ache from typing so much! anyways, very very excited to be here <33

(i personally love listening to iris' music whilst playing stardew valley, it has the perfect vibe for it in my opinion, specifically the song 'lilies' !! if you end up listening to it - which you dont have to btw - please let me know what you thought of it :)
