Android help with multiplayer

Hi everyone, ive recently downloaded the game on my phone to play with my partner, we have unlocked coop and im trying to host buy when she enters my ip it doesnt connect. She doesnt live in the same house so would that be the reason ? Is there a way we can be on from different locations ?

Hi, for that to work you'll need to be on the same network otherwise when she enters your IP the game searches on her local network for it. the way around this i've found is to connect your devices witha VPN mesh so it makes your devices appear on the same network, I use NordVPN's meshnet feature and it works with me and my partner on different networks. Mobile multiplayer is available, but it’s still an experimental feature. On Android, you first need to unlock the hidden Co-op option. For players in different locations, joining usually requires the host’s IP address, and the connection setup can be more complicated than playing on the same Wi-Fi.
