Issue help with mods on macbook, changing permissions?

I typically play on a PC.

I have been trying to get modded SDV running on a child's account on my macbook. SDV runs fine on my own user account but crashes on the child's account.

Stardew Valley: 1.5.6 (build 1.3.37.0) on macOS Unix 11.0.0
SMAPI: 3.13.4

A user on the SDV discord modding help channel walked me through changing the permissions for the Mods folder to add read and write permissions for other users.

Instead of smapi saying that access is denied to the Mods folder, it now says this:

OK, I know only a little about File and Folder permissions but it's clear in your list that most have the:

drwxr-xrwx

permission list and some others have the:

drwxrwxrwx

permission list.

However your SMAPI log parser got this:

UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/Applications/Stardew Valley.app/Contents/MacOS/Mods/BusLocations' is denied.

I see in your list that BusLocations has different permissions than all the others, with:

drwx---rw-@ 4 main staff 128 Apr 20 15:33 BusLocations

IIRC, Files need different permissions than Folders. If those two types of permissions I listed above correlate with one to Files (maybe the drwxr-xrwx one?) and the other to Folders (maybe the drwxrwxrwx one?), you could try the same instructions you got on the BusLocations file/folder that you used on those other Files/Folders.

Just for fun, could you post those instructions here? I'm curious if they did it in the macOS Finder or in Terminal using chmod.
