Help with ginger island? (contains spoilers)

I have not been able to collect any golden walnuts from fishing on ginger island. There is supposed to be a 15% chance for each cast and I have done at least three full days of fishing and found lots of other walnuts in other locations. Am I just unlucky or is there something wrong?

Are you absolutely sure that you haven't already caught them? If you aren't completely certain, I'd ask the parrot for tips or complete all the other available walnuts then ask the parrot
