Starting about five days ago my Stardew game won't launch, even though two days before that it was working fine. I'm not sure what changed in those two days. I always keep it updated and its vanilla.
It seems to be stuck in a loop, I press play on steam, it says preparing to launch, apparently it will briefly launch because my friends will get the notification that I'm playing, but it never opens on my end and steam goes back to the green play button.
I've tried:
reinstalling it
deleting the startup preference folder
verifying the integrity of the game data
plugging in headphones
making sure my launch options are empty
I feel hopeless and I'm not sure what else to do, all my other steam games are working fine and now I can't play with my friends :/
