Xbox [HELP] (Spoilerish) Horse flute

I'm playing on a world on Xbox in multiplayer with 1 friend, we were both having issues with the horse flute.
Firstly I built both stables for convenience's sake, when my friend tried to use the horse flute no horse would come to him.
He destroyed one stable and built his own, now his horse flute works.
The downside is that my horse flute doesn't work anymore, The little tune plays but no horse spawns.

Any suggestions, I haven't the hardwood to build another stable at the moment.

Yikes... um, I think it has to do more with who first mounts and names the horse. I'm not 100% certain on that.

In the MP saves I've played I was the host, and I did all the building construction at Robin's... but after the second stable was built, my spouse was the first to mount and name that horse and we never had problems.

Is it possible that you were the one to first mount both horses the first time around? I could see how that might mess with things.

As a workaround, though, I do think that after you have the hardwood, destroying your horse's stables and rebuilding it may fix things... but I can't be certain. I would be curious to find out, though.
